Our cars thank you: city widens Market Common parking lot entrance

The DeVille Street parking garage at the Market Common has vexed drivers for years trying to maneuver the tight entrance without hitting the concrete divider or scraping against the walls.

But the City of Myrtle Beach announced Thursday that the concrete barrier has been removed and replaced with flexible posts, giving drivers a little more room to maneuver through the entryway.

Parking remains free, and now a little more stress free.
