City officials in Columbia to meet with state lawmakers
Elected officials from Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach are hosting the Horry County Legislative Dinner at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Columbia to discuss issues before the state legislature this session.
The city leaders are also participating in the Municipal Association of South Carolina’s Legislative Action Day on Tuesday.
Monday night, the Myrtle Beach City Council held a special workshop with representatives from the Columbia City Center Partnership.
“With the City of Myrtle Beach set to receive a final report later this month from its downtown consultants, council members thought it would be good to get ideas from the City of Columbia’s downtown group,” Mark Kruea, Myrtle Beach spokesman said in a statement.
