The Wings Over Myrtle Beach Air Show featuring the Blue Angels this weekend at the Myrtle Beach International Airport will begin both days at 11 a.m. with performance flights scheduled throughout the day.
The weather is forecast to be sunny and warm in the mid 70s, and although the outdoor event will last throughout the day, no water or food is permitted from outside the gate. Only baby formula or medicine will be permitted.
Bleachers and airport parking are sold out, but general admission tickets are still available to the Saturday show for $25 plus $18 (includes taxes) for reserved remote parking with shuttle service from the former Fantasy Harbor attraction.
The Sunday advance tickets are $20.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or online (warning, the website has been buggy for days, so keep trying).
Handicap and motorcycle parking is on a first come, first serve basis. Shuttle service is also handicap accessible.
Scooters for the handicapped are also allowed on airport grounds.
Patrons will be permitted to carry backpacks, purses, camera bags, child strollers and wagons, portable lawn chairs, personal umbrellas and blankets.
Only official service animals will be admitted, no pets are allowed.
Pop-up tents are banned, as are weapons, bikes, skateboard, and golf carts.
Food and beverages will be sold on site, and there will be access to free drinking water at the Horry County EMS first-aid stations.
Public porta-potty’s and wash stations will be available throughout the air show grounds.
Photographs are permitted, and smoking is restricted to certain areas.
