Conway Mayor Barbara Blain-Bellamy registered Friday to seek reelection in the Nov. 5 election, along with other candidates seeking council seats.
There are three open council seats this election, in addition to the mayoral race.
Incumbents Larry White and Tom Anderson are seeking reelection to the their council seats.
Conway lawyer Alex Hyman also filed paperwork seeking a council seat, as did Barb Eisenhardt and Justin Jordan, said Taylor Newell, city spokeswoman.
Councilman Ashley Smith’s seat is also up for grabs. Smith was recently hired to run the city’s parks, recreation and tourism agency.
Registration to run for city offices began at noon Friday. Candidates have until Oct. 5 to hand in their paperwork.
